Happy New Year! It is 2016 already. Last year went by so incredibly fast for my family. It was a very terrifying, yet extremely rewarding year (The dramatic entrance to the world of my son, Cash William). Because I was unable to put focus on Christina Rush Photography in the way I had I wished in 2015, I'm doing some updates. New year, New Website.
Previously, My blog and website were not integrated. I loved my website, and I loved my blog, but I wanted both into one. After Cash William was home from NICU and I was able to get somewhat adjusted to caring for a newborn baby AND Preemie, I put my website on my to-do list for my business in 2016.
In 2015, I was blessed with amazing clients. I captured Newborn, Milestones, family and Military Homecoming memories for several families. Last year I also announced I was offering birth photography and even captured memories for my go-to cake baker, Cupcakes by Parker (who is sadly moving to Japan!). Not only was I blessed in my business, I was... AM beyond blessed with a perfect baby boy. My son, Cash William, arrived 2 months early at 32 weeks. It was completely terrifying for my family, friends and those who were following my incredibly long, 7 year journey to become a mom. A 5 week long NICU stay, an emergency 3 day hospital stay and 6 months later... I have a very chunky, nearly 17 pound cutie.
I'm very excited for the things I will accomplish in 2016. I'm already booked as far out as this summer. I have also scheduled a vacation for Tennessee in June for my son to meet most of his family. Because of my vacation, sessions are limited in June.
Here are some of the most Social Media Favorited moments I captured last year:
And for those of you checking in for updates on Cash William, He's doing so well! He has a bit of a cold we're worrying about right now, and hoping he'll get over it fast. He turned 6 months old on December 29th, 2015 and weighs 16.6lbs! That's more than 5x's his birth weight! He's a very happy boy and a Mommy's boy at that!
